About Lauren Lese, CNM
Certified Nurse Midwife
Lauren Lese, LM, CNM earned her Master’s Degree in Midwifery from Columbia University in 1991. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Columbia University and a BA (Psychology) from Oberlin College in 1985.
Originally from Bronx, NewYork, Lauren attended the Bronx High School of Science. Over a 25 year career in Midwifery she delivered nearly 1000 babies in numerous settings, prior to retiring from Labor and Delivery in 2016 and devoting herself to Women’s Health. She worked at Planned Parenthood NY for 5 years where she developed expertise in contraception management, before joining Spring OB/GYN in 2009.
Lauren Lese is passionate about providing wholistic, empowering health care to girls and women. Special interests include STD treatment and counseling; recurrent vaginitis management, and adolescent health.
Her hobbies include baking, reading mysteries, yoga, biking and hiking.
