Obstetrics:

Our practice provides complete care for the pregnant patient, from your first sonogram through to your delivery. Obstetrical patients are cared for by all of the doctors, as a team; thus each patient meets and gets to know each of our practitioners during their prenatal care. Our physicians have academic appointments and privileges at New York University Medical Center.

In addition, Bonnie Yim, CNM and Lauren lese, CNM are available to see those patients who prefer midwife prenatal care.

All aspects of your care can be addressed by our practitioners including genetic testing, questions about medications, food and lifestyle changes, general blood work, fetal monitoring by fetal non-stress tests or sonogram, and any other issues that may arise during your pregnancy.

Childbirth, Breastfeeding, Infant & Family Care Classes:

These highly popular educational classes are taught by certified instructors in our office after-hours and on the weekends. These classes are available to Spring Ob/Gyn patients as well as patients cared for by outside obstetrical practices. All are welcome to attend. Please call our front desk for questions about class times and schedules. Or go to our Classes menu tab.

MonaLisa Touch:

MonaLisa Touch is an FDA approved CO2 fractional laser that is specifically designed to treat symptoms of vaginal atrophy such as burning, itching, dryness, and painful intercourse. These symptoms are common among naturally menopausal women and also among women who are menopausal due to surgery or chemotherapeutics, such as for breast cancer treatment. The MonaLisa Touch is an alternative to estrogen or SERM medications. It is especially appealing for women who cannot take estrogens for various medical reasons, or for whom medical therapy has failed to treat symptoms related to vaginal atrophy.

Through the use of special vaginal probes, the MonaLisa Touch allows CO2 laser energy to be applied directly to the vaginal walls. The laser energy induces collagen production and revascularization of the vaginal mucosa, revitalizing the vaginal walls to a pre-menopausal state. Studies have shown maximum benefit from a series of three treatments spaced approximately six weeks apart, though our patients have reported improvement, literally within days of a single treatment.
